BC Early College: Summer Academy 2026

Welcome to the Bakersfield College Early College Summer Academies! 

Are you ready to jumpstart your future and earn free college credits while still in high school? Our one-day Summer Academies are designed to give you the tools, confidence, and hands-on support to succeed at BC.

Important: Please review the locations, experience levels, and tracks below carefully to select the correct date and campus on the form.

🚀 Track 1: Early College LAUNCH

Best for: Incoming high school freshmen and any high school students who have no prior college classes (or fewer than 5 classes).

• What you’ll learn: Learn how to get started with Early College, explore ways to earn college credits in high school, navigate college tools and resources, and build a plan for high school and college success.

• Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

• Delano Campus (Room 118):

📈 Track 2: Early College LEVEL UP

Best for: Continuing high school students who are already experienced Renegades and have successfully completed 5 or more college classes.

• What you’ll learn: Maximize your free college experience! Learn how to succeed in Early College by exploring college pathways, academic planning, student resources, and the tools you need to stay on track and reach your goals.

• Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
